If the label you found on your appliance or circuit box looks like this
-
A licensed contractor has done work on your home. If you have trouble
reading the work description or you want to contact the contractor, you
can go to the Minor
Label Program Web site and look up the label.
Minor labels are inexpensive permits for minor electrical and plumbing,
residential and commercial installations. For example, you can use minor
label permits to put in light switches or install residential water heaters.
Licensed contractors buy a "lot" of 10 labels, of which 10 percent
are inspected. Contractors may use the labels for installations anywhere
in the state.
